The Senior Adult Ministries (SAM) Committee meets regularly to develop monthly fellowship activities, service opportunities, spiritual formation and educational events for all senior adults.  Some of the programs/activities in the past are a 2-part lecture series; a devotion-and-craft event at a local retirement home; off-site breakfasts; out-of-town baseball games; attending community plays; a one-day and three-day excursions; afternoon movies with refreshments; special recognition of Veterans’ Day, Valentine’s Day and Christmas; craft days with items made for and delivered to shut-ins; and a once-a-year fund-raising project.
