As a 'PK', Elizabeth grew up in various United Methodist churches in the Western North Carolina Conference and has actively been serving churches and church related ministries for 14 years, primarily in the areas of Children, Youth, and Christian Education. She is a graduate of Eastern Guilford High School, Pfeiffer University, and Duke Divinity School and is currently a certified candidate for ministry in the WNCC and on the deacon track towards ordination. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Brad Sutton, a native of the Gibsonville/Whitsett communities. They have two daughters, Ashland, who is in the 2nd grade at McLeansville Elementary School and Addie who will be in the 4's class at First School this Fall. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, writing, yoga, and spending time with family.
